Abbott Field Battery (TBBX06) Abbot Field Battery (TBBX06)
contains four FV433 Abbot self-propelled guns, six resin tank commander figures & one Unit Card.

The FV433 Abbot self-propelled gun mounts a 105mm gun on a modified FV432 armoured personnel carrier chassis. Although its calibre is relatively small for a modern artillery piece, the 105mm gun fires a high-capacity shell that gives it an excellent performance.

With its usual professionalism, the British Army had prepared for war. Now, as the Soviet Army flooded across the border into West Germany, it was ready and waiting. Fox, Scorpion and Scimitar recon vehicles skirmished with the Soviet forward detachments as the Challenger and Chieftain armoured regiments waited. The infantry held the towns and woods, forcing the enemy into killing zones, new Warrior infantry fighting vehicles in fire support. If anything broke through, the airmobile troops in their Lynx helicopters would hold them. The British Army is ready.

Abbott Field Battery (TBBX06)
The Abbot provides close support for the armoured brigades, where its presence is much appreciated. The guns are very effective against infantry and light armour, as well as providing smoke screens to mask the defenders from enemy fire while repositioning.

Adding Rare Earth Magnets
Alternatively, you may choose to glue rare earth magnets into the recess in the hull and to the bottom of the turret. Magnets are a quick and secure way of fixing your turrets to the hulls, as an alternative to the included plastic peg.
