Assembling the Huey helicopter
Step 1. Start by gluing the seat backing to passanger compartment bottom Below: Attaching side seats.

Below: The correctly attached seats. Step 2. Glue the left and right sections of the Huey together with the crew compartment slotted in between.

Step 3. Glue the two main sections of the Huey together with the crew compartment slotted in the grooves between the two sections Above: The two Huey sides attached with crew compartment inside

Step 5. Glue the landing struts to the bottom of the Huey. Make sure that they facing the correct way, slopes forward. Step 7. Attach the elevators to Huey's tail section

Below: The attached blow-off panels. Step 8. Glue left sliding door door onto the hull. Note: you can glue the doors either side shut but will not be able to fit the gunner if you do so

Step 9: Attach the next sliding door to the hull

Step 10. .Attach the gunner to the seat. Note: Gunner can be attached to either side of the Huey

Step 12. Glue the machine gun to the Huey making sure to line up the gun stand with the gunners hands Above: The completed Left Door Gunner

Step 13. Attach Glue second machine gun and mount to the otherside of the Huey Ther are two nose options for the Huey. The Right nose is for the Army version of the Huey and The left is for Marine version of the Huey. For this part of the guide we are making the Army Helicopter. Sroll down below to make the Marine Huey  Step 14. Glue the nose of the Huey onto the front

  Step 15. Glue the tail rotor onto the tail section of the aircraft. Note: Army Hueys have their rotors on the left side of the tail.

Step 16: Glue on the egine exhaust on top of the aircraft and attach the propeller  Below: Completed Army Huey

Assembling the Marine version of the Huey helicopter
Step 1. Starting from the end of Step 12 and the start of Step 13 above. Glue the nose on the front of the Huey. Note the Marine nose is the longer of the two Step 2: Attach the tail rotor to the right hand side of the tail section.

Below: The correctly attached tail rotor. Step 3. Glue right side engine to the top of the Huey making sure to align it with the hull.

Step 4. Glue the left side engine to the top of the Huey. Below: Completed engine section. Make sure the two sections are correctly aligned Step 5. Attach the engine exhaust to the back of the engine assembly making sure to follow the grooves
