Step 1. Begin the Mi-24 Hind assembly by gluing the two peices of the fuselage together. There are male/female notches to help.

Step 3. Now add the bottom windscreen. You may need to wiggle it around for it to get into its proper position. Step 4. Glue the compass unit to the bottom of the tail.

The Hind has a wheels-up and wheels-down option. First I will show how to assemble the wheel-up option.
Step 7. Glue the rear undercarriage to the bottom. Step 8. Next glue the front wheel to the front undercarriage compartment.

And that is how you assemble the wheels-up option. Now I will show how to assemble wheels-down.
Step 9. Glue your front undercarriage to the front undercarriage compartment. Step 10. Next glue the wheel in the undercarriage notch. Below: Front undercarriage assembled correctly.

Step 10. On to the rear undercarriage. Glue the wheel flaps into the notch shown below. Note: Make sure you have them the correct way around! Step 11. Next glue the wheels onto the square notch shown below.

Step 13. Time to assemble the wings. Start by gluing together the rocket launcher peices. Step 14. Glue the rocket launchers to the wings. Note: Notice how the notches are spaced differently?
The one with the smaller spacing goes in the second set of notches away from the body.
Step 15. Add the spiral missiles to the end of the wings. There are small notches to help with positioning.

Step 20. Next glue on the two missing rotor blades.  Below: Rotor blades assembled correctly.

Step 21. Now glue the rotor mast control rod assembly onto the blade assembly.  Note: Rotate the assembly until the rotor mast completley fits into the blade assembly. Step 22. Glue your rare-earth magnets on to the bottom of the rotor mast.
