Red Thunder Product Catalogue |
Red Thunder is the first time we have decided to included a catalogue section in one of our books, so you easily browse through all the models available for the force in one place, without having to scroll through the online store.
Don't worry - the extra pages don't affect the price of the book (Red Thunder is the same price as the other hardcover Team Yankee expansion books)

We've been Thunderstruck! |
The soundtrack for our Red Thunder launch is courtesy of Orion's Reign, a heavy metal band from Athens, Greece, who were kind enough to give us permission to use their version of the AC/DC's Thunderstruck. Their rendition set just the right tone to give us energy for our noon-to-midnight session of continuous modelling and gaming. |

Total War: The Aftermath |
The 4-player Total War game was brutal and bloody. Phil and Wayne's Warsaw Pact forces advanced rapidly, gaining Victory Points for capturing multiple objectives. Chris and Andrew inflicted heavy casualties while falling back in relatively good order, but they realised they had no chance of catching up and winning on Victory Points. For NATO to have a chance of winning, they would have had to fight on grimly in hopes of eventually breaking the enemy's morale - not really in the spirit of the fast, frenetic, fun game they all set out to play. So Chris and Andrew cheerfully conceded defeat, so we could all take a break for dinner. |

Tank assembly race |
We decided to have a speed-assembly contest to see who could build a plastic Team Yankee tank (hopefully to a decent paint-worthy standard) the fastest. It wasn't necessarily a fair test, since certain tanks are inevitably quicker to assemble than others, but it was all in good fun. |
