How to assemble your Marder 2 IFVs.

Assembling a Marder 2
Step 1. Start by gluing the the left and right side tracks to the lower hull. There are notches to help you correctly align the tracks. Step 2. Next glue the upper hull top to the main assembly.

Step 3. Attach the rear armour plate to the main hull.

Step 4. Next attach the side skirts.  make sure that these brackets align neatly with the angle of the front glacis. Below: The assembled hull of the Marder 2.

Step 5. We will now build the turret. Start by attaching the upper hull piece to the bottom hull plate. Step 6. Next glue to the smoke discharger in the small slot at the front of the turret. Step 7. Next attach the turret to the slot. Note you can leave the hatch open to place a commander.

Step 8. Next attach the choice of 35mm or 50mm gun. Note that the shorter of the two is the 35mm.

Step 9 (optional). Attach the optional Milan launcher to the top of the turret.

Step 10. Attach the turret peg underneath the Marder turret. Below: The fully assembled Marder 2.
