Assembling the AH-1 Cobra
There are many different variations of the Cobra. This assembly guide is for the AH-1 Cobra in Team Yankee. Below the parts needed for this variant are highlighted in green.

Step 1. Begin the AH-1 Cobra assembly by gluing the two pieces of the fuselage together. There are male/female notches to help ensure correct alignment

Below: The two body halves assembled. Step 2. Next add both left and right skids to the bottom of the body. Make sure the glue has dried before you place it back down!

Step 3. Now glue in the canopy. This should just slot right in. Step 4. Next glue in the rear wings. Note:Take note of the orientation before you glue.

Step 4. The rear rotor is connected by a small notch on the vertical tail on the rear of the Cobra. Step 5. Attach the Vulcan gattling gun to the front under the cockpit.

Step 5. Now we can assemble the main wings. Start by adding the TOW missiles. I have highlighted the contact points in red below. There are two wings, so it would be a good idea to assemble both at the same time. Below: TOW Missiles attached correctly.

Step 5. Glue the two M159 rocket launcher body parts together. There are notches on top of both to help positioning. Step 6. Now you can attach the cap to the top of the M159. The notch is hexagonal to again help with positioning.

Step 8. Now that the wings are assembled we can now attach them to the Cobra body.

Step 9. Next to assemble is the main rotor. Please take note of how the blades and rotor are positioned.

Below: Correctly assembled main rotor. Step 9. It's cooler if your rotors can actually rotate! So glue a magnet to the base of the rotor system.

Note: Make sure your magnets are the correct way around before glueing and mark the top with a marker. Step 10. Now add the second magnet to the inside of the Cobra. If you Marked your magnet the marked side should be the side glued in. Step 11. Place the rotor into the top of the Cobra and you're done!
