Assembling the Armored Rifle Platoon (USAB10)

Click here to return to the American Combat Command (USAB10) Spotlight... All Flames Of War infantry and guns are supplied with appropriate bases. Assemble your infantry teams by gluing the figures into the holes on a base of the right size. There are usually several figures with each type of weapon, so you can create variety in your teams. It doesn’t matter which mix of figures you put in each team, as long as the mix of weapons is right. Refer to the diagram above to figure out which figure on the sprues is armed with.

Commanders and Unit Leaders  Base Company HQ teams and Platoon Unit Leaders on a small base with an NCO and a rifleman. The team faces the long edge.

M1 Garand Rifle Teams  Teams combine four riflemen armed with M1 Garand Rifles. An NCO or gunner armed with a BAR may replace a rifleman. The team faces the long edge

M1919 LMG / Mortar Teams  Base these heavy weapons on medium base facing the long edge. These teams have the gunner and his weapon along with two assistant gunners or loaders
