Chris' Bottes et Roues (Boots and Wheels)

Chris' Bottes et Roues (Boots and Wheels With Chris Townley Last year I came up with a plan to build a wheeled French army, inspired by the awesome VAB and AMX-10 RC models. I put it on my slow burn list as it has a reasonably high vehicle/infantry count and just chipped away at it when I felt like working on something different.

Before I knew it I had broken the back of the project having painted the majority of the infantry (I have another 4 teams to do), as well as the VAB APCs and Mephisto anti-tank vehicles. Sitting in a box I have my AMXs half painted – so they have been camo’ed up, tools and stowage painted, and now I just need to give them a final wash and details. This will just leave me with the helicopters as the last thing to do on my initial painting list, primarily because I think they will be a nice reward for knocking off the rest of the army!  ~Chris
