Dynamic Points Update for World War III: Team Yankee (Aug 2024)

World War III: Team Yankee Dynamic Points Update August 2024 Thanks once again to everyone that provided us feedback on the proposed World War III: Team Yankee dynamic points. Your comments and feedback are a valuable part of the process and we were pleased by the quantity (and quality) that we received. We have made some adjustments to these initial Dynamic Points based on your feedback, as well as noting some things down for further review at a later date.

We will begin the review process again in November 2024 where we will look to see what impact these initial changes have had and what areas need further review.. After that we won’t make any changes until the end of next year where we will repeat the review process.

Forces of War

These new points, along with the Dynamic Points button (which will be located in the Account tab) will be live on the website soon. It took us longer than expected to review all the feedback and the final points have only just been handed over to Gregg to make the changes. Stay tuned for an annoucement when they are available.

What Are Dynamic Points?

World War III: Team Yankee has been around since 2015 and is well set to be around into the future. In those 9 years, you have been playing many of games and have given us lots of feedback. World War III: Team Yankee continues to work well and is producing well-balanced games. Having said that, there is always room for improvement and we have been experimenting with some tuning of the points. We have created this list of entirely optional points adjustments you can try. For those using the Forces of War on-line army builder to organise your games, we have added a button to switch between the points shown on the books and cards and the dynamic points so that you can use whichever you want in your games. You can find more information of these dynamic points changes in the following PDF. The game is well balanced at the moment, but you may see a change in the composition of the forces turning up at games. For veteran World War III: Team Yankee players, these changes should make for some refreshing new challenges! Thanks again, and enjoy.
